Getting back to practising social work: the time is NOW
Imara Development Programmes ltd is proud to present a one-day conference targeted predominantly at Social Workers. The conference is designed to bring together Social Work colleagues from across all sectors, different work settings; different roles and capacities: Experienced practitioners, Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs), Social Work students, Social Work managers, Independent Social Workers, Social Work educators, and many others.
The Conference will be interactive; and will give delegates the opportunity to explore and reflect on the current issues, challenges and opportunities facing the profession. It will afford colleagues the time and space to consider innovative and practical ways to inspire and help the profession to reclaim its pride of place and status alongside other allied professionals in the health and social care sector.
The Keynote speakers and other contributors are qualified and registered Social Workers; with extensive hands on social work practice experience; including in brief: frontline practice, social work practice management, education and training.
The Conference will be of particular benefit and value to NQSWs and social work students. It will provide them with the opportunities to meet and learn alongside and from their colleague in practice.
