The Mental Health Implications of Living with HIV/AIDS - Kisii - November 2011
Being Identified as HIV positive can be both Traumatic and emotionally devastating and ‘truly’ life changing. A HIV/AID status brings with it, a sense of Loss, Stigma, Social Exclusion and the attendant Psychological, Psychosocial, and Socio-Economic consequences. This workshop explores how to deal/cope with the initial trauma subsequent to HIV/AIDS status identification.
